!! More About Us
The membership of the group is diverse, we include people using Linux at work in a professional capacity as well as those who enjoy using our favourite OS as a hobby. The levels of experience range from beginner to expert. If you are a Linux user or just interested in finding more about Linux and why you should consider using it, you'll be welcome to come along.

Although the primary interest of the group is Linux, members' interests cover the BSD kernels and now Mac OSX to commercial unix products such as Solaris & Irix, not forgetting the various aspects of web design and programming. Of course, there are always discussions on all aspects of free and Open Source software.

!!!Activities
As a group, most of our meetings are social based, with technical discussions taking place mainly on the mailing list. We meet twice per month, a social meeting on the first Tuesday of the month and a technical meeting on the third Tuesday of the month followed by a social afterwards. Please come and join us.

!!!History
CovLUG was formed in August 2001 and had the first meeting in May 2002 since when we have met twice a month.
